Try this Malibu and Violet cocktail for a light, spring flavor.
1.5oz Malibu Coconut Rum
1 oz Violet Syrup
1 oz Lemon Juice
Top with club soda
To really incorporate the syrup, make sure to shake the rum, syrup and lemon together. Once they're cold and thoroughly mixed, pour over ice and add club soda.
Violet is a distinctly floral favorite, but tends to be sweeter than lavender, avoiding the "soapy" taste. It can pair with lemon or citrus, light bubbly drinks, or an herbal tea. In this drink, the coconut flavor from the Malibu adds a smooth finish.
